I know, she's gorgeous, right?
Seriously - I'm being completely objective because
I would be the first to admit if she was funny looking
but she's not because she looks EXACTLY like her dad;
it's really kind of creepy. But she had to be born beautiful
because I just had the worst week of my life and there's no
end in sight. My inducement that ended in a c-section was a
nightmare and my recovery is not going well at all due
to soreness, numbness, and the fact that I am seriously
swollen to twice my size. That's not a joke; it's terrifying.
Thanks for all of the support and I'll write more
when I'm feeling better; no need to comment and I
apologize for not returning emails, calls, text, etc.
I'll get through this but like pimpin', it ain't easy.

She is a positive beauty, absolutely perfect! I'm so sorry this happy time is clouded by your painful recovery. I can't wait to read more about her. Many congrats!!!
ReplyDeletei love how in touch you are with yourself. usually people are in a cloud and are so tired and baby-awed that the pain and swollen-ness is easily denied. but i love that you are like - it IS happening and it DOES suck. cause i imagine it does. i just can't remember.
ReplyDeletei am going to try to get my butt up to you sometime soon sweetie.
She really is just beautiful, and I am so happy for you friend. Hoping for a fast recovery on your end, so that you can get around to really enjoying her!
