Today is my due date but the only thing
that arrived was a fab new pair of Uggs,
and I'm totally fine with that. At this point,
Bebe needs to hold off for at least 12 more hours
so I can traipse around the house in my new boots,
eat some leftovers when my appetite returns, play
laser tag with Pinks, and perhaps get in one more
nights' sleep before I never sleep again.

I remember my Christmas pregnant with Whitney. I was soooo thinking she was going to be born then. NOPE.... ended up arriving JANUARY 9th. She's been late ever since.
ReplyDeleteThis will be one gift that will be worth the wait. I've been thinking of you a lot... been there done that this time of year TWICE! ( One due Dec. 25th, one due New Year's eve.... and the third born on Groundhog Day.... LOL )

One word of advice: take the boots off before your water breaks.
You will take a nap while brynn plays quietly in a gated area. You will train her to do this.
