Fire or Ice

Fire and Ice
SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,        5
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

- Robert Frost

Today was my first day B2S and this poem ran through my head the entire day.
Perhaps it was the oppression of a 102 degree classroom; perhaps it was the cold
sweat for fear of the upcoming unknown.

Let's hope that fire and ice play a minimal role this year and that the climate remains
comfortable from start to finish.

Let's hope.

  1. welcome back to reality!

The school in student teaching in has been back in session for 21 days! Still hard to believe that some schools just started today, and some (like back home where I live in Michigan, start next week).
