B2S

It's here.

Tomorrow I go back to school and I'm not mentally prepared - at all.

I woke up today with horrific allergies,  probably the worst attack I've had in my adult life: my eyes are swollen shut, my nose has inflated to twice its size, my head is pounding, I'm having trouble breathing properly and I'm starting to break out in welts.  I'm a mess.

The allergy medication I took has done nothing to relieve my suffering so I'm trying to be proactive by eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in hopes that my extreme case of allergies might ward off or cancel out a future peanut allergy for Bebe - how do you like that logic, eh?

 I think it's time for a nap - who am I?

  1. You may be on to something there...some allergists promote avoidance but some studies are showing early introduction may be beneficial. As a parent of a peanut allergic kid, I don't eat it, but you eat it up and best of luck to Bebe who will, hopefully, not be susceptible! Sorry you feel so crappy but good luck back at school! I hope it cools down for ya'll!

  2. Bummer. Funny story: I too had an allergy attack yesterday, and woke up with a brewing sinus headache and itchy throat. Granted not NEARLY as severe as yours...

Here's to hoping you get better quick! Happy first day of school...
