There is a place in this world -
not a home or a town or a city -
but a place that is larger than us most,
that is a desolate as an empty ferris wheel
or as deafening as an abandoned beach.
It's a place for men but it's full of boys who
live there in a disenfranchised
way by choice; And so they try to win,
but not just for winning's sake, which is why
i love those boys and fashion yellow ribbons
from outgrown futbol jerseys:
an exchange of mesh for flesh, in thanks.
